Free Plan
The Free plan has no subscription fee and no refund handling. It is intended for basic VIN decoding, development, and API evaluation.
Free plan limits may change as the product evolves, but existing public pricing and account limits should remain visible before use.
Paid Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel a paid subscription from the subscriber portal when self-service billing is available, or by contacting us.
Unless we state otherwise, cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current paid billing period. Your paid plan remains active until that period ends.
Refunds
Paid API usage is normally non-refundable once the billing period has started, especially when API requests have already been used or capacity has been reserved for the account.
We may issue a discretionary refund for duplicate charges, clear billing errors, or a serious service issue where the paid API could not reasonably be used.
No Abuse-Based Refunds
Refunds are not provided for accounts that violate acceptable-use rules, expose API keys publicly, attempt to bypass limits, run abusive automation, or use a paid allocation and then request cancellation only to reverse the charge.
If a key is compromised because it was exposed by the subscriber, we may revoke the key and help issue a replacement, but used API requests remain counted.
Plan Changes
Plan upgrades may take effect immediately or after payment confirmation. Downgrades normally apply at the next billing period unless handled manually.
Enterprise or custom plans may have separate cancellation, refund, SLA, and invoicing terms agreed in writing.
Chargebacks
If you dispute a payment through your bank or card provider, we may temporarily restrict paid API access while the dispute is reviewed.
Please contact us first when possible so we can investigate duplicate charges, billing errors, or subscription status problems quickly.
